Weimar cabaret meets sapphic slumber party via Wau Waus
"Cirque du Sashay" by Alexis Soloski in this week's Village Voice reviews the new hour-long show by those acrobatic burlesque artists The Wau Wau Sisters.
It sounds scrumptious. We're talking pink champagne and marachino cherries, lollipops, Dali-esque dance numbers, sacrilege, glitter-coated tampons and irreverent panties.
You could ask for more, but why bother?
